Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of more than 110 natural compounds occurring in hemp that belong to the the cannabinoid group. CBD is the most common cannabinoid in fibrous-class hemp plants (Cannabis Sativa L), and, unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), is not psychoactive, therefore is not classified as a narcotic substance.
CBD Oil is a natural dietary supplement consisting of Cannabis Sativa L extract containing naturally occurring phytoannabinoids (including CBD) and vegetable oil (the most commonly used one is hemp seed oil). Unlike the ordinary cooking hemp oil, the CBD hemp oil is a dietary supplement containing, along with unsaturated OMEGA-3 and OMEGA-6 fatty acids, a natural extract with the full-spectrum of naturally occurring phytocannabinoids (including CBD), terpenoids and flavonoids, which gives it its unique properties
The best way to obtain the extract for the production of CBD hemp oil is extraction with supercritical carbon dioxide, so-called CO2 extraction. This unique method can produce a pure and clean extract containing not only cannabidiol, but also the full spectrum substances naturally occurring in hemp – and this is possible without the need for solvents or chemicals that could remain in the final product. An additional advantage of this method is its selectivity – it allows for the cannabinoids and other fat soluble substances to be extracted from the plant, but not any potential contaminants such as fungi and molds, or even heavy metals that could have been accumulated in the plant from soil or air.
According to the Act of 29 July 2005 on counteracting drug addiction, the legislator distinguishes two types of cannabis plants:
CannabiGold oils are made entirely from Cannabis Sativa L (fibrous hemp) plants, containing less than 0.2% THC and grown in the EU from selected and certified seeds.
HemPoland has more than 500 hectares of contracted hemp (Cannabis Sativa L), cultivation in Poland which ensures that CannabiGold products come from a legitimate source.
The properties of CBD hemp oil make it a perfect dietary supplement. The human body is fitted with cannabinoids-sensitive endocannabinoid receptors – those receptors are “attuned” to respond to all sorts of cannabinoids. Receptors of this endocannabinoid system can be found in the nervous, immune, digestive and cardiovascular systems as well as in the organs – the brain, heart, liver, reproductive organs or muscles. The presence of those receptors suggests the cannabinoids’ could affect these specific parts of the body.
CBD Oil is a natural dietary supplement obtained from fibrous hemp grown in Poland according to strict standards. It is recommended to use CBD orally – precisely sublingual, to increase the rate of action and absorption of natural phytocannabinoids. Exceptionally mild flavour and smooth texture make the daily use of CBD hemp oil especially easy. Due to the individual characteristics of each user, such as age, weight or metabolism, it is recommended to start using CBD hemp oil from 2 mg daily in 2-4 doses, preferably after a meal. It is also possible to gradually increase the daily dose or adjust the dosage of CBD oil for body weight or individual preferences. No negative side-effects of taking larger daily doses of hemp oil have been observed. It is also possible to use CBD hemp oil externally, eg for skin lesions. The CBD hemp oil is sold in bottles fitted with convenient dropper, which greatly facilitates the dosage. Shake the bottle before use, store in a fridge once opened, protect from the light. This product cannot be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.
